I bought one and am not disappointed. It fits right in with my camping. I agree that the price point is a bit hard to swallow for what it is.

I have carried my Krazy Beaver for a year or so now and can fully endorse. I have used it in, rocky soil, sand, dirt and snow. love it. Want to encourage everybody to carry a Pulaski with them as well. Yes mine are ready for sharpening and paint. Will get to that this weekend. TJ

I have been using Garmin Inreach for GPS and GAIA Maps for mapping. Really works well. With the GAIA on a tablet you can save a map section to the device while you have wifi than pull it up as a fixed map on the trail. The blue tooth linked Garmin tracks perfectly on the map. No cell connection...
