We will be at the Tuttle Creek Staging Area around 11am on Friday if we leave at 9am from Lincoln and we will have to update on camping if anyone is interested in that. Last I heard the campground below the dam is closed still, but I'll call next week when they open to get the details. I just...
Man, I want to make it happen so badly, but I just can't swing it right now. Hopefully you are able to find some people to travel with. Side note: we should plan a local meet up somewhere to get to know the Nebraska people and maybe make some trip plans
I'm located in Lincoln as well. I have a buddy with a Rubicon here and another with a Tacoma in Springfield. We went to Tuttle creek last weekend, but are always looking for new places nearby.
I've had this 4runner for about 6 months and am just about to really get into fabbing some goodies for...
I'm in Lincoln. To my knowledge there aren't a lot of places to go in the eastern half of the state. This picture is in Tuttle creek 2hrs south of me in KS. Let me know if I'm missing out on anything because I need more trails in my life!
I got this 05 limited v8 in the fall of 2018 and haven't done too much yet, but there will be a fair amount coming over the next year. It has been great so far!
I went to tuttle creek today and it was a lot of fun! Spent 4 hrs or so on the trails and definitely didn't hit all that we could. About half of it our rigs couldn't handle, but we had a great time. We need to plan a trip there with some other members in the area soon.
I'm in Lincoln, Nebraska, but originally from Denver, CO. I have a 99 Tacoma that I'm about to sell because i just bought a 2005 limited v8 4runner to start building up! I've done a ton of camping growing up and am starting to get into the idea of overlanding, but I've always enjoyed the 4x4...
As stated before, tires are probably #1 on the list for both functionality and you can do it for 1/4 of your budget leaving a lot left for other things. I have a 2005 t4r and i just put the falken wildpeak at3 on my truck for $573 + $99 install for 5 tires. I put the 265 70 r17 on (32+ inch...
I just joined and I live in Lincoln. I was just in Halsey before kayaking the dismal river and noticed only ohv's and didn't think you could take anything wider than 67" on them. Are there areas where the trails allow for full size vehicles? Is there any information on here about places to go in...
