PapaDave,
Sure wish that I could make this trip. This is the perfect time of the year to do Magruder!
I will just be getting back from a 8-10 day trip with some retired old fart friends in Montana. Maybe next year???

Hey PapaDave,
Thanks for sending me the invitation. Unfortunately, we'll be heading out to MN on that date for two weeks.
Please keep me in your email group. Nanc and I would love to join everyone some time this summer.

Dang! I have always wantedd to explore the Owyhee area. Did a geolgy project around Jordon Valley many, many years ago. Wanted to head east and check out the area around the river ever since. It's my birthday (74th) on May 31st, and my son and his wife just moved back to Spokane after 25 years...
I purchased this about one year ago. In use only once before trailer died. So in near new condition with some dust included gratis. :-)
New these are super heavy duty and sell for ~$400, but are pretty much unobtainium at the moment. You can get this one for $250. Pick up only in Spokane, WA.
I took this off my trailer about a year ago and it has been hanging in the garage rafters since then. actually used less than 10 times. In great shape. Comes with all three wall sections for huge, huge tent like cover. Also comes with the two additional poles and all ropes, etc., plus new...
I'm old and so is my inReach. It is one of the original DeLorme SE (yellow) models. It still still works great. I have it mounted semi-permanently in a RAM suction mount or on a RAM 1" ball mount in the the T4R. I usually just run it without the contract around town during the winter months...
thanks for the update!
With my poor eyesight, the 10" model would have to be the way to go. But the cost is crazy. I just purchased a new 13" iPad 2 Pro for about the same price. Still stuck with the same issue. i love Gaia GPS but the screen visibility in daylight is really poor. guess...
Question for this group: I own an iPad 2, think it's a 10" version that I've had for several years. I run both Gaia GPS and inReach sofftware on it. My only issue is screen visability while mounted on the dash. It's terrible. How is the Garmin Overlander's visibility while mounted in your rig?
Here is a side shot of my Mission Overland trailer. We've had it for two summers now and it has around 12,000 on the tires. We really love it. The propane heater is great on the chilly mornings we experienced along the St Joe.
We just missed the rut, dangit! I was thinking of doing the IDBDR next summer, but got talked into doing the ORBDR instead. That will be the end of June, beginning of July. The beginning of Sept. will see us meeting up with some friends from around the country to do the Heart of the West loop...
During the last week of September, Nanc and I and another couple decided we needed to get out at least once more this year. It would only be for three days and two nights. But being in the mountains beats sitting in town worrying about Covid any day! I haven't been up on the St Joe river for...
Hey! What an incredible video. thanks so much for sharing your trip with us. I haven't been through most of those ghost towns in 20-30 years and boy they sure have gotten "touristy" over the years. Still a wonderful place to bring the kids. Did you know that when the silver prices fell...
I have been waiting for this for a couple of years! If you are happy with it, I will start researching quality radios with Carplay and big screen. Love my iPad but would really like to replace it with a "built in" unit. One less (big) thing hanging off the front of the dash. I'm guessing you...
