Not sure of the spacing on the sliders, but I think the 3rd gen have more room under the cab. I will try and get put there this weekend and get some pics

I have not mounted it up yet but have test fit, and a 2.5 gallon viar tank will slip between the rails on white knuckle sliders and fit between the sliders and bottom of the cab on a 3rd gen
I am starting to play with video a bit. it is all shot either on the cell phone or on a knock off go pro that I got off Amazon for less than $30 bucks. I did a little video just to test out the action cam, it is nothing crazy, just a learning experience.
personally, I am a fan of the 3rd gen over the newer wagons. The factory sliders were only offered for a couple of years as an option and are pretty hard to find. They give you good rocker protection but offer no side coverage. White Knuckle Sliders offer far more protection and are a bit...
When I had looked at Aluminess a while back they were all body mounted. I would also suggest a steel slider over aluminum. The aluminum is "sticky" and does not slide over things as easily as the steel will.
I am not sure which model rack it is, I will see if I can find out. We live somewhat local to Frontrunner so he went down and talked to them to see what would work. What he has fits nicely to the cab of the truck and is mounted to the rain gutters on the roof, I believe with added Riv nuts. I...
I am on here every once in a while, have an 06
And just because it was so much fun to be part of and the video just came out yesterday here is a video from Falken Tire with a few shots of the truck.

Exactly, they both are purpose built, but not for the same purpose, but it seems to be one of the most popular Internet comparisons. I love my wagon, and it will easily go places that a raptor would struggle with, but when you hit an open stretch of dirt there is no way I could keep up with a...
I am a huge fan of the skottle and have been using it almost exclusively for a year. I still carry a small 1 burner butane stove for the occasional side dish like mac and cheese or the coffee percolator but pretty much everything is on the skottle. I have a full review of it on my blog here...
the first time it rained my Kodiak leaked all over the place as well. Then I read the instructions where it tells you to set it up and soak the tent and let it dry. The fibres tighten up and it has never leaked again.

Q: Do I need to waterproof my tent when I first get it...
I have a kodiak and love it, but if I had it to do over again I would get the oz. I think the kodiak is faster to set up, and you get more usable space for the same size footprint due to the roof shape. The downfall of the kodiak is the reliance of the stakes to the tent standing. It can be...
I use both Gaia and Backcountry navigator. I kind of go back and forth between them. Back Country seems to have more map options, but gaia seems to be more user friendly. Gaia also has the online sync so you can have your waypoints and routes on multiple devices and also access them online
Thank you both for the compliment, like always, it is a never ending project. Just stepped up to Falken Wildpeak MT in 37x12.5r17 and Carli control arms over the weekend.
As for the original poster, great choice, the 3rd gen Dodge is a great platform but as you already know the Hemi is a...
