It was a good time! It was all of our first times at turkey bay (I believe) and I for one learned a lot and had a blast. There was a 4 rig convoy and we ran the numbers trails 1-8. My 2wd truck surprised me!
Hey @Jrfelkins myself and @tc317 will be joining. We plan on rolling out from Brentwood at 8AM to meetup with you by 10. Anyone else you know of going?
Sorry to say but I can't make this trip. I am going to be in ATL for a wedding that weekend. I am however hoping to make it to @Jrfelkins day trip this coming Saturday. Anyone else going to that? He set up a Rally Point for those interested.
I put these on Instagram but figured I would post them here too. I really enjoyed meeting everyone. This really is a welcoming community for new members, thanks everyone!
And again @VanHoman forgive me for not getting you in the shot! It was a total mistake!
Thank you! This place is perfect and I will certainly be checking it out! For anyone else curious, click here for more information on the place. It looks very cool and is close to Catoosa Wildlife Management Area which is where the Nemo Train Tunnel is located. I believe I have found myself a...
I'd say it depends on what you're looking for and your budget. Spring Hill/Thompson Station is a nice area in a more "country" area and is a little more budget friendly. I'd compare it to a cheaper Franklin area. If you like the downtown/college scene maybe checkout the 12 South area but be...
I was looking for a tundra thread and am pumped to have found one. I have a 2003 Toyota Tundra SR5. It's got a 3" leveling kit (dont recommend it) and 33" Nitto Terra grapplers. Not a ton of mods yet but there are tons of plans, oh how there are plans. However, my PO's keep getting rejected by...
I couldn't agree more. That being said it's obviously a large task and would take some time. Building off this idea an audio book narrated by the both of you would be a stellar addition. I don't read much but I do love to listen to audio books. An audio book is how I pass time while driving to...
Love the DIY spirit @Chaser Oninterweb !
This is my first time to a cars and coffee so I am not 100% sure what the turnout will look like. That being said, my initial plan is to try and park on the North West corner of the lot. It's a small corner we can congregate in if its not already taken...
I just created a Rally Point for the Cars and Coffee in Cool Springs for Sat 8/4. It shot out like 200 invites so hopefully all of you received one (should you be interested in attending). I made myself, @Jrfelkins , and @tc317 admins of the page. This could be a really neat way to meet others...
This cars and coffee is located in the parking lot of the Cool Springs AMC Dine-In Theather (formerly known as Thoroughbred 20). The event is held from 8AM - 10:30AM every Saturday year round. My intention is to use this as a public meetup spot to get to know some of you while being able to show...
For that reason right there I will be upgrading when I can. Not having to google each forest for maps would be super nice. I think you have just sold me on it. Curious too now on a beginner GPS that I could pair with an iPad mini. Is there a different thread for learning navigation basics? I'm...
Hey Nick! Yeah TN is pretty sweet. There are tons of camp grounds around here. I am on the search for something a little more primitive off the beaten path. Wish we had some BLM land in the southeast but that's alright. You have any fun spots in FL?
