  • Guest, we will be conducting site maintenance August 4th and some downtime is expected. At this time Rally Point and the Member Map will also become an app-only feature for long-term security and stability. A few days after this maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.

Good question. I don't use the gate table really at all as I have a fold out table that's bigger. Thinking of a redesign, and will swap the fridge to the other side. Then maybe I could use the gate table. Shoot.

Overland Trailers - Too Destination Restrictive?

That axle was a junkyard special. Not sure of the rating but probably a 2000 pound axle. The housing broke right is it narrows down. I also am running 35 inch Wrangler MTRs. So I probably had it coming. I also was dragging it over rocks. That junkyard axle has lasted over 2500 miles, two trips...

Overland Trailers - Too Destination Restrictive?

Sound advice MOAK. Canyonlands is rad. Elephant hill is also a permit trail so there won't be as much traffic to worry about. I definitely agree on the backing up with mirrors. A lot of these trailers are small that they can hide behind your rig. If you can't see the trailer you won't have fun...

I have broke the trailer axle on rock trails so obviously there are limitations. There are several types of trails...

Here is a pic of the stock OCF roof basket. The next shows the mid section that I made to extend the basket. The last pic shows the extended basket in full effect for gear, awning mount, and a road shower mounted to the rear floor of the rack, which you can't really see, but get the idea.

Thanks Cody. No YouTube channel. I am a pretty busy orthopedic surgeon so not enough time to put into a channel. The rack is from Off Camber Fabrications by MBRP. It has a rear frame that does bolt through the hardtop but has an inner brace that fixes onto the body tub so it's very sturdy and...

New tires 38x13.5r17. Old tires are 35. Trying a new grill for a while.... maybe. I painted it up with paint matched spray cans.

It's cool to log on and see all the different Rigs and ideas. Some people think we're crazy for spending so much money to just "go camp"... The truth is though, now I can go camp at the drop of a hat with minimal planning and setup. So now I can get out all the time and that is freedom. That is...
