    Massachusetts Sound Off!

Aside from a couple minor trips to NH, I have been no where and have not done any trips. It would be nice to meet some new people in the area and plan some fun, low-key day adventures.

    Massachusetts Sound Off!

That would be great. I am in MA full time now, after spending time at my place in PA. I was one of the original members of this organization (hence the #0001) back when I lived in CA and was very active in overlanding. My LC200 is not built up yet, just off-road tires, but I would like to meet...

    Massachusetts Sound Off!

Thanks! I haven't seen much on this group. I'm in southern Worcester county, but haven't heard of any meet ups.

    TIRES

Thank you so much for that thoughtful post, it really does help as I investigate my next tire brand. My LC200 is primarily on the road, or dirt roads, so I definitely am looking for an AT that has a good blend. I really appreciate your help! By the way, our overlanding adventures sound...

    Legal Weapons and Overlanding

Thanks for that perspective. I knew it was bad, and likely caused by what you describe above, but that is just so sad. I hope the US can learn this lesson, but lately I am not so sure.

    TIRES

This thread is so relevant, as I have BFG AT KO2s on my Land Cruiser, which are wearing quite nicely (they look almost new) and have done the job very well for my needs over the past few years. I have almost 40,000 miles on them, rotate them every 5,000 miles (including the spare), but...

I hear you. This thread theme becomes extremely relevant when driving there.

    Legal Weapons and Overlanding

The current state of South Africa is basically an enormous dumpster fire of so many deeply ingrained complicated issues. Very sad. He was telling me about load shedding and how the power is off for 10+ hours a day sometimes for multiple days a week. I guess their only power company, Eskom, has...

    Nature Photos

I love walking sticks. They are becoming more and more rare in many parts of the country.

    Legal Weapons and Overlanding

I had a friend who was a contractor in Riyadh and he also told me how friendly everyone was and that safety was never an issue. It shocked him coming from Johannesburg, South Africa, which is basically the opposite end of the spectrum in all aspects. I bet you see some amazing overland vehicles!

    Any Hunters Among Us?

Nice to see this thread revived. I only hunt turkey in Spring and deer in the Fall. I only use a bow and arrow.

Next time I will wave. Haha! I have a Land Cruiser with off-road tires, haven't built it up yet. I'm down at my rental property in Federal Hill quite a bit, hope to see you sometime.

Hey, I think I saw your LR3 in Providence, but I may be wrong. There is another built up with that color. I love it! When I first joined this group years ago I had a really built up LR4 - there are built threads here somewhere. Nice to meet you.
