Hey gang,
Who has a GX 470? I'm thinking of trading in my Jeep for something with a lot more comfort inside. I don't trail ride like I used to so I know a couple guys with a GX 470 and they look really nice. So I want to see how others have modded their rigs for Overlanding.
Thanks.
Laud,
It sucks but I have to back out. My new job says I have to do some work this weekend so since I'm the new guy I get to do the work. Sorry, just found out and was very much looking forward to this (brought the Jeep to work already packed up too) Bah. Next time definitely
Thanks Chris. I wasn't sure and since I didn't remember posting here or doing a quick search here yielded a post by me figured might as well post. I appreciate it.
Welcome as well UpirLichy Nice Tacoma. There's a rolling meet and greet happening down near Lake Whitney https://www.overlandbound.com/event/rolling-meet-and-greet/ Check it out :) I know Alyce has seen this already ;)
Welp for the very very basics... a good first aid kit, fire extinguisher and recovery gear. Those are always good things to have in the rig at all times. From there it becomes personal choice as to what to pack for how long etc. Check out the boot camp section, that has some good information in it.
Hey there Alyce :) Yup it's still happening.
Also if you click the rally point button up in Laud's post you will get more information or here's the link:

Yeah won't make that since I start a new job that week, but I can meet you down at Lake Whitney later on so you don't have to rush your drive or anything.
Thanks guys. Yeah I'm really happy how she's turning out. Right now I'm planning a trip out to the Sierra Nevadas for next year. So this winter I'll be deep into that as well. :)
Haven't updated this in a while but mainly because I haven't had anything to really post, I have some new gear to put on Moro very soon:
Quick disconnects for the front sway bar (get more travel then just the electronic disconnect)
Joying Radio
Fender Deletes
New hood latches
New wheels, the...
I like it a lot. It's a bit of a pain in the ass to put on, especially the spare tire gate, but once it's all on and adjusted works great. I have been tempted to look at the ones that you can get that attach to your tailgate though. So you open the tailgate and everything swings out for you...
