Are talking about the Oklahoma Adventure Trail? A quick Google of that you can find all the GPX files. It’s a loop around the state not on the border but on the northern end you’re almost in Kansas. Also in NE OK you’ve got the Green Country Adventure Trail. Both trails are mostly backroads...
I've gone that past 2 years and plan on going this year. Last year was nearly double the turn out of the year prior. I'm not sure what impact covid is going to have to the turnout but I doubt it will be much. Expect a lot of people/vehicles. especially in the vendor area and the Byrd's general...
Count me in. One thing to note, for me at least, is that so far NSO is still having their Rendezvous in the Ozarks in Oct. It's usually a big event and I've gone the last 2 years and plan on going again. Maybe have a meetup there in addition to this one would be cool.
Welcome. I had been trying to find it for sometime and had even asked a few NSO folks and they just said April lol. So either I, and possibly everyone else, was missing it on FB or it just got posted. Both are likely at least on my part anyway.
I'd be down for that sort of trip. One thing to consider is that Natural State Overland is doing their bonfire in April I think and a lot of folks head that direction.
The Express Rally they're doing in Colorado has my interest. Also Rendezvous for 2020 is going to be same weekend as halloween if I remember correctly. They did say they would do some trick or treating stuff for kiddos.
Can't speak for Dover/Indian Creek road but most of what is around Richland Creek/Falling Water area is decently maintained gravel roads. Last I was in that area was mid October and water level was rather low and we were kind of doing bits of the High Water Mark trail. Check water depth before...
I think this will be his first year. Did you go to the Rendezvous in the Ozarks? He had a vendor booth promoting his Expo and was trying to get all the other vendors to come. I'm sure it'll be a spectacle but it's quite out of the way to just go see some vendors for stuff I don't likely need for...
You're just for hearing about it? That dude has been hyping the hell out of that. The short version is it's indoor vendor mall in the middle of the city and you'll likely have to do a hotel or something. They did partner with Express Rally to plan a route to the SMORR off road park.
