Wood working help in the PNW

I sent you a PM but figured I’d cover all bases and respond here. Since my original helper bailed and now I’m in a time crunch, I am going to postpone this project until after we return from Montana. Now that I’ll have time to plan properly I’m thinking of doing this in 80/20 but we will see...

Wood working help in the PNW

Thank you! We’re going to a place called Triple Creek Ranch in Darby. I love Montana but every time I’ve been there it’s been to fire Wildfire so it will be nice to be able to enjoy it. Triplecreekranch.com

Wood working help in the PNW

I’m not opposed to driving farther distances, the issue is that on 14APR we’re driving to Montana for our honeymoon and the guy I had lined up to do this bailed on me. So now I am juggling my options and probably just going to wait and do this when we get back if I can’t get something lined up...

Wood working help in the PNW

Hello all, I generally am here to read and learn, so I rarely post but I’m looking for some help and not sure where else to turn. I have a 200 series and just picked up a fridge slide that I want to install. I am looking for someone to cut a piece of plywood that’s the shape of the rear cargo...

US Northwest NW Washington Monthly Campout: February Edition!

@Erikfirstgen07 Here is a snippet from the PSE website "There are also several developed campgrounds, including PSE's Kulshan Campground, open year-round with 108 tent and RV sites available on a first-come-first-served basis, and boat launches located along the lake's western shore." Puget...

Leitner rack with Softopper or similar

The Leitner doesn't work I looked into this as well. If you want a rack and softopper Datin Fabrication is one that will work for sure, there is also upTOP TRUSS Tundra (2014-2020), which might work. Reach out to Micah at Uptop, he told me they can make custom risers for their rack which I...

    FreeSpirit Ready light review

Great write up, I got one of these for Christmas and was gonna do a review but you covered everything. In reference to the light mount and it not being removable and unable to lay flat I agree with you, that is my only gripe.

    Camp Shower (Merged)

I have a Zodi outback Extreme Self-Contained Portable Hot Shower | A complete System with convenient Stove | Zodi.com I've only used it a few times but it works great and doesn't take up a ton of room and the propane get it super hot it needed. The only thing I would change is the nozzle where...

SOLD M416 TRAILER WITH OR WITHOUT ARB SIMPSON III SEATTLE AREA

I will separate the trailer and RTT but the trailer must be sold first and buying both I would make a better deal. So $2700 for both, $2100 without tent I would trade for a Alu-cab Expedition 3 or James Baroud RTT with cash added on my end. I have a 1967 Stevens M416 trailer. I am the second...

I have an M416 and thinking of selling but would like opinions.

No the M416 is more narrow than the Tundra I don't have specs off hand but when it is hooked up it looks small connected to the Tundra, when I had my 2018 Tacoma it was much closer in width, I didn't think track would be part of the equation, that is interesting. Thank you

Copy. @Anvil Overlander extending the tongue and adding the max coupler is also on my project list but I've stopped this project until I decide what to do. I like your Bantam setup looks good. @mmp good info, thanks for the response!

I have an M416 and thinking of selling but would like opinions.

Thanks for the responses, I used to tow a 30' trailer regularly with a Dodge 2500 while Wildland fire fighting so I have towing/trailer experience on remote roads... this short ass 2' long tongue is what screws me up for some reason, I guess I just need to take it out more when I'm not in a rush...

I have an M416 and thinking of selling but would like opinions.

Thanks for the reply. I agree that some wheel time wouldn’t hurt but the physical size of the vehicle and the roads I want to go on won’t change. I need to extend the tongue and it would reverse easier but not sure I want to put $ into it if I’m still on tight trails. My original idea was extend...

This might be lengthy but it will be detailed so just hang tight... or skip to the bottom :-) I have a 1967 Stevens M416, the first owner purchased it from DRMO in 1974 or something like that and I am owner number 2 so it's in pretty good shape. I had always wanted one and two years ago I...

US Northwest December Meet-Up: Winter Cascades Camping!

What routes are people taking? The route it had me go was highway 9 to Finn settlement road, then I was supposed to take an active logging road but visible signs say no trespassing and I came face to face with a logging truck. So I turned around and the route had me follow along Lake Cavanaugh...
