    An interesting observation made by more than one overlander is they bulge when filled with 87 octane but not when filled with 93 octane. Sounds flukey to me but others swear by it.

    One factor to consider is if you have a swing out tire holder. If so it's easier to not have to go around it to access the rear hatch.

    It is a serious trail and I would advise going with others that have run it before, preferably one in front and 1 behind and all 3 with good comms. A humble attitude helps. Might be the longest 12 or so miles of your life.
