Welcome from NW Arkansas. Our 4Runners have fit our family and dogs well for several years on and off road. Look up the Rendezvous in the Ozarks in October at Bryd's.
My wife, kids and I will be there!
I swear I saw a post somewhere today about information on the classes available. I can't find it now anywhere. Anyone have a link they can share with me for the schedule?
It is forecast to rain, it will be a mess that is guaranteed! There are mud holes that will swallow a 4Runner. One word of advice, there are several drain plugs under the carpet of 5th gen 4runners, they helped me drain 6 inches of water in my cab.
Welcome from Bentonville! When I moved here about a year and a half ago I started with getting to know the area around White Rock mountain pretty well. We went from there, and within a year put 25,000 miles on our 4runner, mostly in the Ozarks. Look up the Parker-Hickman homestead and Union...
I prefer my dogs, nothing moves outside our camps without them letting us know. If there were an issue, I personally prefer to make sure I am ready to protect my family at any cost. I live by the thought it is better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.
Rola. I have had them on my 3rd gen and now my 5th gen and it works great. I fabricated some brackets for quick fists to hold my shovel and axe, and mounted my Rigid 30" light bar to the front. The worst thing about my set up is the wind noise, but that is what the volume knob is for.
I am sure you are aware, but if water is high enough to get into your engine it is also filling your cab. Ask me how I know..
And Arkansas mud smells like ass.
