On board air or portable tank

I have a 2015 Tacoma and run the arb single at the moment. It's really good for 33s. I am on 35x12.50r17 and it's starting to slow down. Faster with a tank. Some of the things to consider when buying a compressor for your vehicle 1. How much do you air down/up? 2. If your air was faster would...

    Overlanding fridge, whats to big?

It fully depends on how you pack for food. I use a 50qt arb for myself and with everything including drinks in the fridge I can pack for 5 days camping. And I eat large meals. Separate your drinks and other stuff like condiments to a separate cooler with ice. Keeping meat as compact for cooking...

    RTT vs. Wind

This is actually a great discussion. I have been searching for a new rooftop tent as I remember seeing in a video that someone had made a flip style of tent that had very tight and external pole design fabric. Something I remember was that the rain fly was not necessary for basic rain as well so...

    Inquiring about tent brand

Hey all, been searching for a few days and kinda giving up the search part and hoping someone has an answer for me. I remember seeing in a video mention of a new RoofTopTent brand that's made specifically for the overland community. Something I noticed that it didn't need a rainfly to stay...

New build - JKU Rubicon or Diesel ZR2?

Personally if your picking between those two vehicles I would pick the zr2 and diesel if you can get one. Over the next couple years you will see more and more accessory companies include the zr2 as well as the tacoma and jeep in the same category. The jeep accessory market is flooded mostly due...

    Pickup bed modifications

Description: High Clearance Hitch So I am gonna start this off with a basic upgrade that modified the outside of the box and added more clearance as well as backup lights and available wiring hookup area's. The main reasons for this modification is during off-road trips there may be ditches or...

    Pickup bed modifications

Hey all, figured I would start a thread that may help others in listing pickup bed modifications that help with both off-road ability as well as overlanding success. What I was thinking of doing is if people want to add their modification on this page as either an explanation or link to an...

Cerberus - 2015 Toyota Tacoma build

Went out to do a day trip in the truck to a hot spring with my new lady and had a little too much fun. wasn't low enough pressure to stay on top (11 front/8 rear) so it high centered when the snow got to 4' deep. reminder these are 35" tires and not one is touching the ground.

Cerberus - 2015 Toyota Tacoma build

Its definitely been a process of picking something, reviewing, researching and diving deeper into the information that is available. Something I pride myself on right now is the only frame modification I have made to this truck was done by mistake by the shop installing the rear shock hoops. We...
