The road out there isn't bad at all. It's pretty smooth with a few ruts that are relatively avoidable and a small mud pit towards the end. When I was there two weeks ago there was a stock Nissan SUV nearby that cleared it all just fine.
If anyone is available in June we should setup an early...
Absolutely! First come first serve out there. When we went this past weekend there were two rigs with Hiker trailers and a different family out there as well. There are a few places to camp though so you should be able to find a spot. Every time I have been out there it has been pretty wind so I...
How did the Windrock trip turn out? I wish I could have made it but things have been pretty crazy over here. I am definitely trying to plan a little outing to LBL for early summer. I found a gorgeous place to camp at the end of forest road 392.
I am definitely planning to attend this. I have been looking forward to heading to Windrock for some time. How much are sites? It would probably be easier for everyone to book their own unless a group specifically wants to book a site together. I can just imagine a lot of people RSVPing but then...

I finished my tailgate table project! I used to have a detatchable table but I never really liked it. I always wanted one that was permanently attached so I gave it another go and I think it came out great! I used some 1/2 birch plywood as the base with a 30" piano hinge. I needed some extra...
Try this one, this is mine. This will highlight just the main route. Let me know if this one works for you.

Not sure what set you downloaded but that sounds about right! I could send you a link to the file that I have that has the main trail on it if you'd like.
Yeah if you have the maps you'll be fine. There's really only one water crossing that ever gets "deep" and even then it's maybe only 15" or so... Nothing too crazy!
