fridge has worked very well, used it recently for a halloween party to store jello shots.. it holds approximately 200 2oz cups of jello and booze. important information, i know.
I do have a normal lead acid starter battery for the jeep, and i think the fridge could have damaged it as it doesn't...
the 3.7 is been a time tested engine. pretty reliable. for me, the only issues i had were overheating the transmission a few times, but the HD mechanical fan really helped that a lot. in the hills of PA i can crawl all day and now worry anymore. about $120 all in.
Yes JBA, i have old man emu suspension with a .25" top plate to level it. total of 3 inch lift. JBA upper control arms, 31" duratracs, no real traction control issues, offroad it likes to kick on a bit premature if you ask me but it could just be my preference. i was able to calibrate the speedo...
after signifcant amounts of pin striping that could have been avoided, i have installed DIY limbrisers on my liberty. before the risers i uprooted a few small trees by them getting caught in my roof rack. i love them and only spent like $23 at tractor supply
never heard of it. we stayed a night in green ridge state forest. $10 a night for primative camping. which I'm assuming too far out of the way for you.
i think were covering something like 170 miles in 2 days. checking out henstep, sheep pen, knob ridge, poe paddy and a whole lot more. the guy hosting it really likes to drive around and see as much as possible
i did it last year. it was my first time running the route and it wasn't a difficult route. basically all forest roads and oil roads. i may have an updated route as we found out that the original route leads onto private property.
we have 2 kids (fur babies)
the yellow lab goes just about everywhere. the miniature pig stays home due to hes a nervous pooper and gets car sick easily.
had the tent for almost a year now. used the annex last week in Assateague as a way to escape from the noon-day sun and drink beer secretly. two lawn chairs inside and some snacked. we have the smittybilt overlander (smaller tent/smaller annex). it works great if your base camping and not moving...
Honestly, Ive been concerned about some of the purchases I've made, i.e. cheap chinese led lights, off brand fridge, used RTT... all have been amazing purchases. I dont know if i have low expectations or what but everything has met my needs and I couldn't be happier. the purchase of the RTT...
Honestly for your situation I'd say F-150, but if you want the added offroad prowess, I'd say look into a Tacoma. best of both worlds. or like said previously. I'm holding out to see the new Bronco. I drive a 2011 Jeep Liberty and I enjoy showing the Wranglers I can do most of what they can do...
this and Odyssey were on my radar as possible replacement. i take a group 34 battery, are the overall dimensions the same as a standard SLA battery? or can i get something a little larger to get more long term AH? any special mounting plates or straps required for the Northstar?
well my week on Assateague Island is over. the fridge performed excellent. couldn't be happier with this purchase. we were able to bring food that a cooler and ice wouldn't allow and would likely ruin. it was nice not having to run and find ice when the cooler got low because we didn't need it...
we will be traveling from Allegheny National Forest area to Assateague Island on Saturday 8/25 and are looking for a place to boondock in Delaware. preferably secluded meaning no home depot parking lots. I've already searched freecampsites.net Redden State forest was an option but all the...
