So, is this the parking lot at Ranger Station, that is just past Paddy’s Creek campground? I interested in going as I am camping at Paddy’s Creek campground in Lake James park this Friday night. Two weekend in a roll?

We stayed at Paddy’s Creek camp ground at Lake James. You can google Lake James state park. They also have a beach area, if into that.

I amped at Lake James state park campgrounds. They are nice, it no direct access to lake from campground. 2 minute drive to lake access and ranger station is there also. I think they had group shelter there? But, don’t hold me to it.

Could go do Old NC 105, then go to Lake James and have cook out. Then you can go swim , ride mountain bike trails or kayak/canoe.

To all that are going. If you are facing the Eldarado Outpost, we can meet to he right side. I will be in Black 2 door Jeep. Bill

You have locker! So, armour and winch, Tire’s. Then see if lift needed.

There are some good camp spots on 516 before mud pit/soup bowl. If you can get there Friday or very early Saturday. There are some just past soup bowl parking lot. But it has gotten quite rowdy there in past.
