Mud for me even best case scenario you still have to clean your rig after. And even then its the gift that keeps on giving for months to come. Get under there to check/replace something and dirt falls from spots you did not know existed.
Chain for static pulls (hi-lift) is perfectly fine/safe (not weight) and works well with there offroad kit. What I did was add a 66foot arb winch extension (static=no stretch when your working so hard to move something) to my setup to give me more distance ( I still carry 25feet of chain though...
I agree but part of me also feels like I get way more from ham for less. There are so many people on GMRS channels that don't even know you need a license it may as well be $70 to use CB.
I did the same I travel alone and like all the options. I payed for my GMRS but felt like I was getting ripped off the whole time. It should be $70 for life at that price.
Manwithjeep: Love the old Cherokee they are rare to see by me. As you can tell I really enjoy the older jeeps.
Jake: I enjoy your youtube videos. You put tons of work in and it shows. It is inspiring and helps me get out more.
My view of "over landing" Has came down to just getting out of the city. I built my jeep to get me to cool places be that camping, climbing, disc golf, 4x4, camping, etc. What is different for me is I don't focus on the difficult terrain (4x4) I enjoy the trip and the scenery. The way we will...
I ended up buying this one due to the light weight and easy setup/takedown. I shall see how it does.
