Thanks for the recommendations and links. I have CB installed and handheld HAM (Baofeng BF-F9 V2+), although I am not yet licensed. I will get licensed though, just received my Gordon West book yesterday.... I have a lot to learn, but looking forward to the journey!

Look into the Bee Canyon trail that starts in Hemet and finishes around Idlywild. That was actually the first trail I ever did... it was a little bit challenging for my (at the time) unlifted Jeep Renegade, but your rig should handle it with easily. Very nice scenic drive.

Very nice build! I notice that you had a Rebel Offroad decal on one of your photos. That shop is just a few miles from me. If I ever get a JKU (or maybe it will be a JLU), I'd definitely consider having them do work on it.
