    2002 Jeep WJ

Iv'e cut my bumper and wheel well lining and still rub. Can't wait to get my winch bumper. Then I'll find a set of JK take-offs..

Is my rack too big? (Pun intended)

I also plan on welding/fabricating a ladder to access the rack. It is a pain to crawl up there or try to throw things up there, then tie them down standing on a tire or rear bumper. A ladder would solve so many issues.

Is my rack too big? (Pun intended)

I'm thinking I am going to cut it off, make it a flat rack for now, then over the winter shorten it, vertically and weld it back together.

Is my rack too big? (Pun intended)

So, i have been debating on the current rack setup I have... I dont like it! I think it is too tall and looks strange. I am considering removing it and chopping and shortening it. Thoughts? Please answer the poll above and leave additional comments below!

    "Survival"/ gun questions.

And, if things did ever really get bad, my father and grandpa have a collection of 12ga shotguns and ammo to last years. They both hunt and shoot trap, skeet and sporting clays. I just gotta make it to the family farm (20min away) where there is a well (manual pump) and ammo and the equipment...

The 5.56 may not be the top, but it is a very capable round for defensive purposes, especially for what my plans are.

    "Survival"/ gun questions.

Yeah i asked for prayer about issues; money is tight, but I also keep a good savings. And i also keep a gun/jeep fund, my family is very blessed, I have a great job and i love what i do and we don't "need" for anything. If we cannot afford something then i quite simply will not buy it. My wife...

I think since i can only afford one of the two right now, I'll go with the AR. Iv'e built 9 or 10 AR's and I know the weapon and after more research I'd much rather have the AR as Hikok45 said "It puts you at the top of the food chain" I don't want to be out gunned if the SHTF. I have a family...

    2002 Jeep WJ

I have an 04 WJ. Have 2in BB lift and 245 75 16 Duratracs.. you have to trim or have much rubbing with your current setup? I had to trim a decent amount off the wheel well lining and I still rub backing up and turning.

    "Survival"/ gun questions.

My wife knows how to operate a firearm but prefers not too. I have a 1yr old and a 3yr old. BTW, did you read the article where a ISIS member was arrested in Akron, OH for plotting to kill US military personnel and various other terrorist type attacks. That is right next door to Indiana, so I...
