Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
Connecting power to the tent is this weekend's task. You can run the provided cigarette lighter adapter from the car to the connector in the back right corner of the tent, on the bottom (see pic, it's the little grey box).
I'm going to hardwire mine, it's basically an Anderson connector...
I know I'm long after you posted, but I thought I'd share my experience.
I bought a Alu-Cab Gen3 in September, and left on a seven week trip in October. Probably spent 4 out of 5 nights in the tent.

There is a TRX app you can download to your phone has all of the basic functions, didn't do the 3D view. I used it a little when I was in Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, Dakotas.

What time do you think we'd be off the trails? I'd love to go, but have something back in Leesburg later in the day.

I hear you. I've been traveling and overlanding for over a month now. A few times I've taken the easy way around because I'm solo.
