    Next phase: Expedition Trailer

Completed... hmmm, good question. Don't know if that will ever happen. I will get the trailer soon, coming up 2nd or 3rd week of July, then I take over with all my internal bits, mods and add-ons. Justin (@Anchor Mtn ) tells me it's less than 1,000 lbs when he's done with it, but I added some...

    Smittybilt SCOUT Trailer Giveaway

Is registration required where you are? I'm interested to see how you build it out, your choice of RTT, what goes where, etc. I came close to pulling the trigger on that but it didn't do everything I wanted it to do, mainly carry my moto.

    R12 Air Conditioning

Ah, so that's what you meant by import, because in 1988 almost everything was an "import". They may be able to cross-reference the system, check on ih8mud.com, a guy named 'beno' can probably help. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using OB Talk mobile app

    R12 Air Conditioning

There's a Service Bulletin from Toyota, Nov. 20, 1998 for that. Here's some details. Is your car one of these? Dan

    R12 Air Conditioning

That's the best way, unless you have the machine that recycles, holds vacuum and recharges correctly, it's a bigger problem if you do it wrong. They evacuate the system and then install the kit parts, then vacuum it down to check if the system is good, then recharge with R134a if all is in good...

    Pontiac Aztek "The Original Overlander?"

*ahem*, don't forget Toyota's new niche customer... the "casual-core weekender". . . . . . Aww, I think I just threw up in my mouth a little bit right there. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using OB Talk mobile app

Adding Aux Fuel Tank - What should I do?

I would take some pretty good measurements of your available area, considering driveline movement etc., then go and snoop around a pick-ur-part to see if there's not an OE gas tank in an approximate shape/size that might work. That way you could use the tank straps, filler neck parts and fuel...

    Overland Rally Point

@Michael So, I posted this in Support yesterday, but I can't seem to get Rally Point to work for me. Simply, when I click to start a new Rally Point, it doesn't recognize me as a member. If I log out and back in, still no joy. Bugs or is it me? Dan.

    Camp Shower (Merged)

Has anyone mentioned the Waterport yet? I have one of these mounted on my roof rack and it's become my go to for a quick shower on a warm afternoon. It seems to get warm enough to not be a shock to the system, and now I heard they come in black to help absorb the sun. Generally, I'm too lazy...

    Rally Point working yet?

I watched Michaels video about how to use Rally Point, I think I get it, but when I go to use it, it thinks that I am not a member. I logged out and back in just to be sure, still same. Any issues? Dan.

Suggestions needed for remote/primitive camping around Moab

I spent a couple days there camping off of Hwy 191. I went east off of the highway on Willow Springs road (I think) and found a lot of areas to camp there. The further east you go, the less likely you are to camp next to someone. And there's some good exploring out that way, and it leads to the...

    Road atlas suggestions?

Seems like Delorme used to be the gold standard or preference, but I compared them some time ago and I really like the Benchmark, or National Geographic ones better. More detail, easier to use. I like paper too, although I count on my InReach and Earthmate software for primary navigation, I use...
