Great build man! I have a 97 XJ with a Tepui tent on it as well with plans to do the same OME lift! How did you tint the rear lens red? I love that! Check my build thread out if you like at Princess the 97 XJ!
As promised here is a full write up on the trans temp gauge.
Starting with the parts you need:
Gauge - pt#8349 This is actually a GM factory specific gauge that happens to match the 97-01 Cherokee cluster perfect. It has almost identical font and is green colored backlit and has an orange...
After my newest addition to my interior I decided now was a great time to give you guys a look at the interior of my XJ and what adjustments I have made over the years! I will include as many part numbers I can as well.
Starting with communication I went with a Uniden Pro Series CB radio...
Huh. That's interesting! You'll have to let me know how that goes! That would be awesome if it did. Also, I can't wait to see your high pinion swap! What brand are the seals at the end of the axle tubes?

I will be there and have gone last year as well! It's a great time with a lot of great people and venders. Camping is definitely allowed but I believe the entrance fee was $55 last year if I remember correctly. Totally worth it though.
Ya I don't blame you on that decision I would probably do the same thing! It would be tough to not have a check engine light on all the time after that though.
Ya that makes sense. Jeep started using that manifold in 2000. Much tighter fit and a pain. I believe it might be 2 piece though. To solve he cracking problem.

Man I seriously love your jeep and the way you wrote your build thread! It has to be my favorite vehicle on here for sure. Very well thought out build and that color is amazing!! You got a follower here. If you would like to check out an old XJ build thread that tries to think things out as well...
To be honest not a real noticable difference. Maybe a little bit at 3 grand or so. I just bought that one because the tubes were bent rather than welded together. I figured less weld = less crack haha and its more polished and now has a sick purple tone to it #racejeep
I was happy to receive a pair of Truck Lite LED headlights for my birthday right before the trip! They are amazing compared to the stock lights of a Cherokee.
Next I decided to tackle a big project right before the trip. For about a month I had been hearing what I believed was an exhaust leak...
Next up on the list of upgrades was finishing and installing my aux fuse/relay box I have been working on for ages! It is a factory fuse box pulled from a junkyard that has been gutted and rewired to have 12 fuses and relays pre-wired. at the moment they are pre-wired into the cab via a internet...
Well back from an amazing 12 day trip around New England figured I would try to get caught up on my upgrades! Starting with a steering upgrade I did for cheap! A new tie rod from a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee! I put a new MOOG HD end on it and replaced the boot on the opposite side because only...
With 14 days until we set off for Maine there is going to be a lot of upgrades to the jeep in a short time. I will try to keep this updated as I go! I started off yesterday installing a B&M trans cooler due to the amount of hill climbs we are looking at doing in Maine. I chose the 70268 model...
Weekend Accomplishments:
1. Locking gas cap for road trip safety
2. New oil pressure sending unit
3. Oil Change
4. New Distributor because the old one decided to seize
5. New cap and rotor
Haha ya it's just me, myself and I and it gets small sometimes! Couldn't imagine with 4 or 5 people! And thank you I'm excited to see your progress on your trailer!
