Sliding in and out of the drivers seat finally took its toll! The switch section plastic tabs and the rear support broke during the last trip so I finally decided to fix it. First round of epoxy to set the nuts, then round two to build it up for strength.
This reminder made me find another rabbit hole!! I’m debating if it’s a good thing spending more money verses the wifey rolling her eyes!! For those that like tech specs!

Nice! Being thats it’s a GP use rig, what’s your vision? RTT, camper, decked or trailer? Looking forward to a build thread as you process all the ideas!
Agreed, I will keep you in mind. ..Time is my friend as I'm retired. So its all about diesel!! I will say that tempering my desires is getting much harder now that my rig is complete. I always planned on being solo but after reading about all these adventures, its seems better to find a group...
I absolutely LOVE all the pictures. If it wasn't for this great divide (distance between SWFLA & the PNW) between us, I would request to participate in every trip I see. I keep telling myself.....soon....very soon....Yet until then, I will have to be content with the Great Smoky Mountains.
Well, like SWFLA, no one has been seen online for years. member searching proves that out, member messaging directly didn't prove fruitful! Maybe it will be just the 2 of us! Lets get coffee!
Look up Mercers in Blue Ridge, GA! A must visit for the family!
As I was channel surfing because it’s a rainy Sunday afternoon, I found a tv show. Basic stuff but thought I would share anyways!
“Racer Select” channel

4 foot gator, we think it was clipped by a vehicle. Played dead till I touched the tail to drag it off the road and he stood up and scurried off the road into the woods!! Pulse went thru the roof! It’s funny now!
Replaced a mini split AC unit in the garage and then finalized the Starlink power cable! Quick disconnects on the inside and a few screws and I can remove the outside cable if I am not going to be using it for a while!! Love the 3d printed magnet it case!! 4 100lb magnets so this thing does not...
You lost me on "a few thousand dollars." But I am a cheapo and still young-ish enough to not care!! At 58, I still feel 30!! At least that's what I tell myself. My evolution was all about memory foam that can be rolled up and tucked away. I settled on this and it was perfect!
Guzzle h2o seems to be a good company but smritte is absolutely on the money. "What I can see is they used all common parts." In my research I stumbled onto the company that manufactures the UV light used by Guzzle. And you wouldn't believe where I bought it???? lowes.com................I know...
Welcome aboard!! You have the SCAR in your backyard and the GA Traverse is super close!!

Look up the FAT. Florida Adventure Trail. Its mainly up north but it does traverse the entire state. Have not attempted it as my rig is pretty heavy (10K) and I hate sand.
I'm in SWFLA and I reached out to the 50 + OB members and not one reply in over a month. So onward running solo!!

Is there any interest in this area for a “Meet & Greet,” or “Rigs & Coffee?” With 50+members within striking distance, we should at least try to do a...
