    "Survival"/ gun questions.

Just too throw in my .02. I went shotgun, pistol, long rifle. I went shotgun first due to hunting. The 3 i rely on are my glock 21, Remington 870 (either my 12 or 20) and my ar15 for ease of use. I finally finished ( well toys are never finished lol) my ar15, mostly for the in case , because my...

I agree. It puts it in front of us to easily see, therefore we are more likely to look at it.

    CB Radio (merged thread)

@Vandy you can never go wrong with a Cobra 29. I don't know much about the new digital screen and bluetooth ones, But the original style are great radios. I used one for many years that came out of my grandparents Rv from the mid 80s. They are usually not to expensive either.

    That's Not a Knife...This is a Knife.

These are my 2 EDC knives. The Kershaw has came in handy many times with the screw bits to not have to dig for my leather man or a screwdriver in my toolbox. The little Gerber on my key chain was an impulse amazon add on for 5 bucks and was so worth it. It is very nice and convenient to have...

    scan tools

I have an inexpensive one I picked up at autozone for like $30. I also run a Bluetooth adapter (cant remember the name but was $40) and torq on my phone/ tablet. The app works great ( 0-60 times and hp ratings not so much for me) and I love the convenience. I just recently picked up a nicer scan...

    Sponsors

one thing I did when I used to road race was go to local companies. Anything that looks like it might fit either your expedition or even just your style, even down to a local bike shop. i got quite a few small sponsors that way but it was usual enough to pay for entree fees and fuel, which in...

    CB Radio (merged thread)

I run a cb in all my vehicles. My daily has a compact uniden with a magnet mount antenna on roof. Any of my other builds have had my galaxy ( cant remember the model) and verious different antennas. The best one that my galaxy has liked was the wilson trucker 2000. An upgraded noise canceling...

Thoughts and reasons for your chosen rig

I am of the belief that anything can get you out and going. Just depends on how far off the beaten path you are wanting to go. My rig is going to be a 2003 gmc envoy 4x4 (trailblazer). I currently have a 2008 f150 2wd that we take camping now but dont really take it off road since i do not want...
