We went Oct 2-4. It was a bit more challenging that I thought. Did a little damage to the truck but would do it again. The hot springs were a bit crowded. That wasn’t us with the flags hogging the hot spring.

I just got a reply from the humboldt toiyabe national forest office and Barney Riley is open now (never did close), and Sequoia might open up after September 24. So, lm planning to go to Barney on October 3/4 and would appreciate it if someone with water crossing experience join us.

The USFS has a halt order dated July because if the Slick Fire which is almost out. I can get a living person to answer a phone for an update. I'm planning on going on Oct 3-5. Thanks, Sergio and Jane
