They make great storage, are waterproof, and are very reasonably priced.
The only issue with the original design was that they are too far away from the frame and the weight breaks a weld from time to time. So, This summer I'm going to rebuild the mounts so the ammo cans are bolted...

I am working on setting up my 2019 Subaru Crosstrek and looking for how to mount tablets and phone. One tablet will run Gaia GPS, the second tablet is for Torque Pro so I can monitor the vehicle.
I can't find options that are built for the Crosstrek, so I was wondering what others have come up...

Great to see another of the Wyoming faithful.
When I was doing it 15 years ago, we didn't call it overlanding either.
We have the Crosstrek for overlanding and the dually pickup for when we are towing the camper.
