Ruggedized Tepui Kukenam. Drove up to Santa Cruz to pick it up. They even helped me mount it to the truck on a Saturday. +1 for awesome customer service.
25w radio. Fit perfectly where the ash tray normally goes. Don't keep anything in it anyways, since it likes to slide open and eject all of its contents as soon as i leave pavement.
Found a Lexus stuck down one of the trails... How they even got that far i don't know, but they were only 200 yds from pavement when they got stuck. Had to help them out...
Did Gold Mountain on stock rear suspension. Oh, and this was my first time offload in a manual transmission vehicle. I've had them in cars for years. New experience for sure lol.
The coverage on my tires is now much better. Not to mention the truck looks a little more modern, and more aggressive. Had to trim my mudflap a little in the rear to clear the flares as well. I wonder if the 01-04's have different flaps or brackets?

Now to put on the new to me flares...
The "Pad, Body Outside" as Toyota calls it, comes with a thin strip of self adhesive foam on the back side. I decided to put the pad on before i installed the flares, but i have a feeling at the factory they put the flare on first, slide the pad in, then...
Before i could install the new flares, i had to take off my dinky OE DLX chrome baby flares. More like cholo fender trim than anything else, but a 10mm wrench and some time, and they were off. Not surprisingly, the fender behind it was filthy with 15 years of dirt and dust. These wonderful...
Spent most of the weekend painting and installing a set of 01-04 fender flares i managed to snag from someone who's truck was totaled with front end damage. Mine just had the DLX fender trim, and with the new wheels and tires, i wasn't a big fan of the tire/fender relationship. Should help cut...
This is seriously the best $35 i've ever spent. Can finally adjust the coilovers on the truck. Ride height adjustments have never been this easy. 10" of mind blowing front suspension travel. TT/Class 1 here i come!
Coilovers and Camburg upper arms installed. Still on the hunt for a set of rear leafs. Still need to get around to cleaning everything up. I just got so frustrated with that dang upper ball joint, it didn't leave much time for anything other than swearing haha
