Getting things ready for the next install. Using an edge a-pillar mount for a 2500 and with a little trimming and a sheet of abs later and should make for a clean install. Will wright up once done on my build thread
+1 on the tow hooks. Like the look of the 19 but somethings I just didn't really like. But each their own. I would still love it though.... It's a ram.
Just got a set of fogs for my truck. 2 spots and 2 floods for 4 total. They are the bd squad sports. Man what an improvement and install was stupid easy. Previous owner had all 4 wired to one switch and not a fan of that. I am awaiting my switch-pros, mount for it and some amber rock covers for...
Offset can be tricky and from what I have seen many different lift companies have slight variations in what to run. It also depends on how wide of a tire you plan to run. Basically you are trying to prevent rubbing at lock and more importantly ( at least for me ) prevent the tire from contact...
Nice. Hope it all goes well. We just had our first trailer trip. Don't get down when you find something isn't right or to your liking. Use it as a chance to figure out what will work and how to make it better. I had to snap my self out of it when out fridge craped out on day 2 and food went bad.
Full size is alright with me lol. We regularly tow our tent trailer (named notaxpo). I would say the one thing SUVs have on out trucks is covered storage. But a quick trip to a camper shell shop can fix that !
While I do appreciate the truck vault. imho I would go with the are shell. You can store more and larger items out of the weather. Also with the topper if you decided later that the truck vault is not to your liking you do not need a drawer set to be weather proofed since it will be in the bed...
Hey all,
Figured I would start a build thread for the new (to us) trailer. I added it to the truck build thread but figured it should have it's own. So here it is. 2007 Fleetwood evolution e2. Previous owner took great care and already did some mods we had previously thought of. We searched for...
The new set up. Expanded from the myjo and added the jetboil flash. As before I switched to the myjo since I use kcups at home makes it so I do not have to buy coffee separate just for trips. This with the jetboil from set up to coffee is less then 5 minutes. To me that is fantastic timing since...
Thanks. Actually came from a job I used to have. Used yo have another screen name/gamer tag before that. Used to work at a laser quest years back and rule was if you forgot your name tag the manager would make you one with whatever he decided. He decided mylilpony. The next day I changed it and...
Looks good. You making good progress even with building the shop you showed. May I suggest that even tho the bed will be in that section where the wood is unpainted, I would still either paint it or coat it in some way. This will help keep moisture from soaking into the wood and creating...
Very nice. I have considered the bilsteins myself. How are they holding up? One thing I would say is I would still add uca. The added angle from lift is not the only ball joint killer on these trucks. I have seen bone stock trucks pop ball joints when the suspension is at full droop. For me when...
Yeah my intake background comes from racing experience as well. My last truck I put an s&b full intake and honestly noticed not mpg difference. If there was it was minute. Unless you plan to tune your rig you will never really get the benefits from an intake anyways. Most modern cars are already...
