Departure not actually to bad but the break over not fantastic compared to say the Tacoma.

Jeep Truck Photos Released. Who will be the first overlander with one?

We are seriously considering one. We plan to check them out when they hit show rooms and wait for the ecodiesel. We planned to trade the truck on for another 1500 but then they announced the gladiator so we decided to wait. Main reason we didn't get a Wrangler was towing since we have the...

    sPOD vs Switch Pros

It is a mount for an edge tuner/monitor that I modded with some abs to mount the switch panel. I have a quick write up on it in my build thread if you search codename RamRod it will come up.

    Led Lighting?

I have recently mounted Baja design squads in my fog light location. They are by far better than even my high beams. I do plan to mount some ditch lights on the hood. I am not a huge fan of roof mount lights, they are great for the light itself but just do not like the look. Very pleased with...

Help: Atlanta to the Grand Canyon route and stops advice:

Like above if going on the 40 check out Cadillac ranch. Doesn't take much time and is a good spot for some cool photos. It is also a nice break to stretch legs on a long highway stint.

Let's see those full size rigs - Trucks & SUV

I would say they are not built typically to the standard that most overland trailers I see are. More like standard rv pop up but we have not really have any issues. The bathroom can either be a plus or minus as there in not much a room like our old toy hauler but just the showers curtain. We...

Let's see those full size rigs - Trucks & SUV

Absolutely love it. I can understand that for some it is not ideal but for us it works perfect. Trips are usually myself and the wife but at times we have 3-4 people go. Also there was a severe request ( more demand lol) by the wife for a toilet for being outside of campsites. We originally...

Looking for a tough, small Linux computer for my rig

He is using an SSD. In a situation like this I wouldn't use anything else. As for mounting I don't believe he has a write up anywhere but if I hear differently I will let you know. I know it is just mounted to the cage with ruber between it and mount to help isolate vibration
