We really do like to camp at either campgrounds or just off to the side and tucked away somewhere is cool. That being said, I also bring Roscoe for self-defense, and always make sure what states my permit allows me to carry and which ones I have to lock up as I travel through. Don't want to get...
All set. No more paying the .75 at the gas station for everyday air. What a relief. Oh, and as an added bonus, we will be able to repair a flat on the trail so we are not stuck in the middle of nowhere and end up in a bad deliverance scene. Yeah, that's what I told her....
Ran mine to a blue sea aux fuse block I installed. Obviously not hooked up here. This is after I did the install. I have found this to be a great way to help keep things clean and orderly as I added accessories/lights etc.
Well, OCD is an absolute blast when fabricating a bracket. No one will ever see it, but I needed to make and redo three times to make sure it meets standard. Made, painted, done. Will mount tomorrow and post the pics. It better work. Unless I hit a telephone pole, this thing is going no where.
The ARB compressor came in. Install this weekend. Will post pics. C4 Fabrication sent my bumper and I will post once done and installed. Hope it turns out as expected. Thanks to all for following and lending support. Have a great weekend!
It's people like @A10MileHusker that make these forums and other areas of knowledge so valuable. Thanks man. Will it work for me? I don't know, but will surely give me a place to start. Love the fact that guys are cool enough to share what worked for them. Wish @A10MileHusker were closer east to...
Well, good news. The boy woke up in the budget RTT bone dry after a night of non-stop solid rain. Both nights my air mattress deflated ( it sucks) so I am taking suggestions on a decent one others have used. Overall, great trip and we had a lot fun. Here's some pics with the new Shrockworks...
Shrockworks sliders arrived late Thursday afternoon and I installed them yesterday before driving 3 1/2 hours to Hershey PA to camp for two nights and try out our set up.
Couple things about the Shrockworks experience
Packaged very nicely when shipped with expandable foam etc to ensure no...
Thanks for the reply. Waiting for my C4 fab to be delivered. Have a very tight turnaround on paint and install before my trip. That being said, C4 indicates that you should use non-integrated winch due to fit, but they can't suggest a model or specs for fitment. Very frustrating. What winch did...
I'm actually planning to go out this weekend and test my new traction boards. Looking forward to getting stuck then unstuck. The unstuck probably being more important.
As mentioned by other members in this thread, it seems that you are paying a lot more for the Pro suspension. I bought a new 2016 Trail Premium last year with KDSS. I love it. Bought a BOSS suspension lift from Toytec and having EVB in Connecticut install everything and reset the KDSS (keep in...
Little bit of progress today. Got my traction mats today and ordered my GPS. Went with the Garmin etrex30x. Really don't need anything too fancy on that front. Have the maps and roll-charts as well. Just needed something to download Sam's tracks for the portion of the TAT we are doing. Now I...
What's up all? Having in mind the parameters set forth by OP, and where I am located, I would definitely want to do the following:
Drive up to Maine and leave the U.S to Quebec
Drive across Canada
Enter from Top of the World Highway back into Alaska.
That sounds like fun.
