Haha haha. It’s a feel thing. If your not feeling it, one day you might. Out of all the cars I’ve owned this is only the second one I’ve named. Hahaha your reply cracks me up. I can see it now, your sitting around some fellow members and their blathering about how they named their rig...
Trying to get as much ground plane as possible. When i transmit the more ground plane the stronger my signal will be. Hf signal needs as much ground plane as you can give it. So if i run 100watts, only 50 to 75watts may actually get out. So im increasing my chances of better performance.
Well this last week has been very busy. Let’s see.... I installed some skid plates, a warn semi hidden wench kit, a wench and a new Hf radio ( Yaesu FT 891 and ATAS antenna. Whew that was a task.
I am currently in the process of building up my 2020 Forester. Wench, wench bumperkit, rock sliders, skid plates and a second ham radio to use as a cross band repeater for my HT. The benefits are everyone will be able to use it with their hand held as well.
Yep. And loads of fun. This particular one is the base model. Since I will be making changes to it and use it for camping I wanted it to be a basic rig
I hope to meet up with people near me. Eventually travel across the country. This is my new 2020 Forester. I am a ham as indicated by my call sign. And of course I had to hit the trail immediately Lol
