Out of Yuma AZ going east

Here you go: El Camino Del Diablo options. Goldwater is a bit tougher. You have to go in perons to apply and depending on when they are flying, you may or may not get to enter. In addition, fall/winter are tougher to get access to GOldwater...

Gas and O2 issues when traveling across the country.

I'm betting you stopped at shitty fuel joints in Texas going west. Fuel quality makes a huge difference in my JKU. I just did 1700 miles from West Texas to W NM, Durango, Ouray, Telluride, Montrose, Moab, Pagosa Springs and back. 40 miles and a few days after returning I had a clogged injector...

    Fake Rigid lights?

Offroad expo in Phoenix Shut down

When a community comes together to decide how to handle a situation, and the community agrees by a majority? Cool. Being told what to do, not allowing the freedom of choice and expression? Not so cool. And the way our gov't works is the states? States are responsible for themselves, not the...

    First Cold Weather Trip

Base layer for clothing. Hat and gloves make a big difference. Ventilation in whatever you sleep in. reducing the effects of cold radiating from the ground is imperative. When I camp in my Jeep, I open one sleeping bag all the way open and then sleep in one on top of that. For me, that produces...

    Elite Athletes & Overlanding

The term Elite athlete is vague. I am a retired "elite" athlete, ranked in the top 20 in the world for four years, at my sport. But... my sport has absolutely nothing to do with overlanding. One of the tenants to overlanding that is preached by many is to never go alone. In my sport, its all I...
