Did this trip a couple years ago and had a ball. Beautiful views but if u are against mtn pin stripes this isn’t the route for you. We think they are a badge of honor so... it’s a easy trip in the dry and can get darned slick in the wet (duh)... was one of my favorite trips I’ve done!

Here is one of my favorites. The Alvord Desert in Eastern Oregon at the bottom of Steens Mtn.

Been waiting for the National Parks to get cleaned up from the shut down then down to Southern CA desert befor it get too warm.

Retiring at end of the month, then to SoCal Desert for some time with wife and and a few trails, hopefully a lot of trails.

I’ll be retired in 2 weeks so as long as I make it back by July im Golden. Lol

I went to HS at Shadle and lived in N West Terrace (ill plead the 5th on how long ago that was). I live south a few hours now but still try to get up that way to visit and wheel when there’s an event etc... welcome

I’m headed to Mojave road in Feb. any info on other good trails on either end would be greatly appreciated.

Well my last day is the 31st. I’m coming up to 4wheel parts to have some supercharger work done on my Rig. So mid Jan we will plan a trip or two. Headed to southern Ca deserts 2nd week of Feb. pack up and go with us!

Not sure what the Ripshaw is but I’m game for about anything. I didn’t bring my trailer on our other trip but I have an small off-road trailer. Is the Ripshaw trailer friendly. It’s a pretty tough little thing.

I’m all for doing WABDR again. I’m retiring in 28 days so just say when! Doing it as a group would be even more fun.
