We use GoPros, a sony a6000,and iPhones. For editing we use iMovie....if it's free it's for me!

@mid_atlantic_expeditions we just formed the team not long ago so we don't have too much content, but we intend to capture the Mid Atlantic throuh our eyes with everything from Overlanding to kayaking to hiking, to geocaching.

Leadnav is great as long as you don't mind using your iphone or ipad. Gaia is also good and you can use it for android.

Just make sure you are aware of the trails you are on. Stay away from sketchy obstacles. Make sure to have a self recovery kit in case. Other than that, a man and his dog, it sounds like you'll have a great weekend.
