Well if a shotgun is all you have and don't have the funds to buy an alternative firearm, then I would agree @Downs and running at least a #4 buckshot. Average target distance in a home is going to be less than 10 yds. The pattern at that range is going to be pretty tight even with an 18"...
I will be changing up the plan for the transmission. I really want to run the Allison, but I am thinking that it would be more cost effective to run an NV4500.
So, I will be listing the Allison 1000 5 speed . I think I can make a few buck on it and should be pretty close to breaking even...

You really can’t go wrong with a Jeep……as long as it’s a tow hook model (some will get this). As far as the XJ is concerned, plenty of aftermarket support out there. And parts are readily available. Just keep clean oil in it. The 4.0 has had some low oil pressure issues so good clean oil helps...
Had a leaky rear brake cylinder. I was not able to find the exact replacement so I ended up buying a couple for a mid 70's 1 ton Chevy P/U. Everything else cleaned up nice.
Hopefully it will fit. If not I imagine i will be doing some sheet metal work on the tunnel. Really have my heart set on at least a 5 speed.
