...close to the old location. There we would have a large camping area (lawn) and a sports club building that we could use (sanitary facilities, kitchen, lecture room, etc.).
If we meet there, there would be a few changes. These are:
1. The participation fee per person will have to increase...
I’m using the GSI Cascadian set and it’s worked really well — durable, inexpensive, nests tightly, BPA-free, and easy to color-code for the family. No lids or insulation, but great overall. I also keep a couple Sea to Summit Delta Bowls with lids for leftovers or bug protection, though they...
...I didn't bring ALL my camp gear this time, since I was only going to sleep in the Raider, but not camp-cook since there was a nice kitchen 50 ft. away.
It's a fairly nice drive, and I managed almost 17mpg going up there, which is pretty great for this giant box.
Also, I turned 250,000...
I'm looking for a 4x4 camper rental (e.g. Jeep with RTT and kitchen/fridge etc.) in California, ideally LA/SD area?
Any recommendations? I found escapecampervans and cypressoverland - is that it?
Thanks for any hints and tips.

Oliver.

I can't do the slide out the back kitchen like many have on here because of the necessity of keeping the bed available for "homestead jobs," so for years I've been using the plano sportsman's case as the "Kitchen Bin." Recently I finally decided that I hate it, so I revamped my kitchen setup:

Finally got sick of the Plano case for the kitchen bin. It was just too inconvenient, always getting jumbled up, hard to reach and find things, awkward to move around, always getting buried by things in the truck etc.
So I revamped my whole kitchen setup:
Not exactly a mod, I know, because I...
Revamped my kitchen setup.
I had a crack at using one of these bins as the kitchen before, without success, but I think last time I was using only the left bin. I had been using a plano sporsman's trunk previously, but I finally decided I just hate it, so I was determined to make this work...

The last vehicle I had came with "security" lugs on them. I pulled them off and replaced with the same lugs as everything else. I didn't want to find my self way out in the desert on a dark night and lose the key and not be able to change a tire.
Keep it simple.
I'm a little embarrassed to say how long I drove around with my security lug socket in the shop...and my bike rack key in the kitchen fibber drawer.
Maybe a year would pass before I could squeeze out a laugh...if I ever needed them.
I Can run any kitchen appliance minus a dishwater and full size stove/oven.
I don't bother with microwave or toaster oven anymore they take up to much space.
What I do use is a hotplate and electric kettle and takes care of my cooking needs.
