I am a volunteer emt who recently purchased a retired 2001 ambulance from my squad. Currently working on converting it for van life/ overloading. Possibly a 4WD conversion? Opinions?
Just did a trip to Shenandoah to to test the setup before being final.
I have a 2008 dodge ram 1500 that I am trying to find headlights for. The only problem is that my headlights are aftermarket the low and high beam are split, and with the retention method uses spring wires instead. The bulbs are h7 and h1 for the high and low beams respectively. If anyone has...
I recently found that the advanced auto parts near me are clearing out stock of the schumacher power converters for the new model coming in. The older model ones are going for cheap. Here is a link for anyone interested...
Here Is the current state of my ram. I am a college student so progress is slow but still enjoy the trails and camping in the mean time! Got the rust on those rear frame rails all cleaned up and painted. Then I did a front end facelift from the 2004 headlights that were stock on this truck to...
Hey guys so I recently bought a rust free bed for my 2004 dodge ram as mine was cooked. I found a good deal on some fiberwerx fenders and bedsides and I am planning to put them on the truck. However the bed that I bought did not have bedsieds or the front bracket to hold the bedsides on the...
The main reason for the steel is because I do not know how to weld aluminum and have more experience with steel. I also will be hauling dirtbikes and quads but do not plan on a gooseneck at the moment. I was going to add stake pockets but just prefer working with steel is all.

I do understand the concerns with adding this much weight to the rear of the vehicle, These are mainly preliminary drawings to get an idea of what I want/ might be useful. I have software that will be able to calculate the exact weight of the bed and any accessories I want to add using CAD and I...
Here are some things that i was thinking about adding mainly the tire location and some small aesthetic features. (Please excuse the sloppy hand drawing)
Havent thought about it would be nice though given my trucks very limited range. Thanks!
The only other thing i am most likely going to add at this point in time is a spare tire mount on the side of the bed.
Hi guys so I'm planning on building a flat bed for my 2004 Dodge ram 1500. I wanna build this flat bed because my truck has some pretty bad rust on the wheel wells and to help give me ground clearence and some space for bigger tires down the road. I have a very basic design for the flatbed...
