The DBBB should be good in a stock jku, as long as you don't get on the really difficult section. This has good info about it http://sevenslotsyndicate.com/blog/daniel-boone-backcountry-byway/
Got rid of my spacers and put a 2.5" lift. Went with Rubicon express and the control arm drop brackets. Rides so much better already , get the alignment done this week.
I saw that and posted in the thread, I'm a maybe as we get back from vacation the week before. I'll at the very least try to make a day trip up early on that Sunday.
I can imagine so man. A little at a time, I think after the lift, a winch would be my next big purchase. Just have to see how my needs develop as I'm just getting into overlanding.
Nice man. I'll be getting an OME 2 inch lift for my JK in August, currently on spacers and not into it lol. Plus get control arm drop brackets, and extended rear sway bar links, and move oem rear links to the front. Steering a little flighty right now for sure.
I'll keep an eye on this thread and let you know as we get a bit closer. Wife isn't on board with camping yet, so may end up just coming up for a day trip.
Yeah, that seems logical for sure. I'm just letting her get use to going off road right now. Slowly trying to do a little more. Only got out on trails once so far, want to get out a few more times before the expo for sure. Solid advice, I appreciate it.
My wife and I will be attending. Looking forward to it for sure, staying at a hotel as my wife isn't onboard with camping yet, but should still be a good time.
