I took a trip and rode part of the GOAT. From Ripley OH, to part of the Wayne National Forest. It was almost 200 miles mix between pavement, gravel, and dirt. The route went through 3 water crossings, farmland, small towns and forest. I dispersed camped in a portion of Wayne National Forest...

Welcome, you wont find too many 2wd overland people, but with that being said I use a 2wd jeep WJ. Good tires, a rear locker and a winch you can take it most places the 4x4s go. Glad to have you in the group!

I was able to get the winch working and able to get it out myself, thanks to anyone who considered helping

I have a friend comming out friday after we get off work, im going with some tools today to try to get the winch to work.

I was on the trail yesterday and i got stuck and winch was acting up. I had a wrangler help try to get me out but we really just made it worse. His wrangler was too light and just spinning his tires, im to the frame. Is anyone in the new orleans/ Belle chasse area that can help me out? Thanks...
