    DIY trailer build - battery in trailer or vehicle?

    We did the trailer build for our tj, the biggest thing is watch your weight, have trailer brakes if possible. The battery idea is great with solar to keep it charged. Have fun, the sky’s the limit with imagination on these things.

    We are in Tucson part year. Chat with Bryan at Sonoran Expedition Collective. The guy, has a small overlanding shop and is a wealth of knowledge. He put on our auxiliary fuel tank 2 years ago and has helped with radio wiring. He’s an OB member too

    Important trail update! Coast range north to south route has a major land slide totally removing the road! This is south of hwy 18 and Rose Lodge, the coordinates are close to 44.92583, -123.80265 on forest road 17. I could not find a bypass with the time I had available today.

    Standard drawer sliders from Home Depot. About 18” to get the width for our fridge. Worked great and easy to install.
