As I have been installing various accessories, I am now at a point where I need to pass wires into my truck cab. For things like lighting on the roof rack, what have you used to get the cables through to the inside that doesn't look butchered into place and also is waterproof? I have looked at...
It depends on what the duties the dog will be performing and what the owner is dealing with. They will match the dog's temperament to their person.
As an example, since I have PTSD I deal with a lot of anxiety, depression, etc. It wouldn't do me as much good to have say, a husky as it does...
I am asking as I was a master tech for Isuzu light vehicle in the days of your vehicle and am now a technical writer in their Publications department for their commercial trucks. I still have access to the SUV information though. If I can help you with some factory wiring diagrams let me know...
I run one on my 2013 Toyota Tacoma.
Pro:
It gives me about 150 extra miles to a tank full.
Con:
They are expensive.
For Tacomas there is a weird thing with the vent line. I have not been involved with a Jeep install yet.
An FYI:
If you are in California, these are not CARB...
I have a service dog and have had him for about 8 years now. I have had very few problems with him. Usually just with the unintentionally, uninformed people trying to do their job. Usually a quick conversation or just saying, "He is a service dog," is all it takes. I actually keep a small file...
As a ps, look at the transformer box on the power supply wire. Check to see what the output voltage is. All of my CPAPs have been 12V until my current ResMed which is 24V. I just use an older 12V model CPAP for camping.
Edit for clarity
I made an adapter for my CPAP to hook to a jumper box, (originally I hooked directly to a car battery that I lugged around everywhere,) now I modified my harness to plug into a power port on a jumper box. Originally it cost me less than 12 dollars. With the last modification, I am all the way up...
You will need to find the wattage/amperage you will be needing, how many feet it will be traveling. From there the easiest thing to do is use an online converter like; Wire Size Calculator
There are many different versions of these online but I found this one pretty quickly and wanted to give...
I am a bit late to this but check your coolant sensors. Some vehicles have two sensors. I don't know what year this is, probably missed it. One for the gauge and one for the computer. Either way, if the sensor goes bad most of the time the failure tells the computer it is much colder than it is...
I have a Softtopper from my old double cab short bed Tacoma. I used it a little on my newer Tacoma but am heading a different way. The previous owner had painted the aluminum frame black. I had the window replaced in the back so it is nice and clear. I am not sure where the hold down clamps are...
I will preface this with; I used to teach auto electrical, electronics and it is part of what I do now.
Get a digital multimeter. Learn how to check for available voltage, voltage drops, and shorts. Learn some basics about wiring diagrams. The test ate actually easy to do and when you...
