I'm honestly not sure. I always meant to get it weighed somehow but never did. Tag on the trailer days 3500lbs, rough guess 600ish for the rest of the build.
Started with a CVT M416 as the base, this trailer is fully loaded and ready for its next adventure. Additions include:
-Cutom roof rack
-Custom Tongue Box (houses electrical and fridge)
-Custom pull out Kitchen and Gear Storage (all baltic birch construction)
-Max Coupler Hitch
-Propane Tank...
Looks like a fun run. Nice trailer; we have a similar setup and love it. What tent is that? It looks like it was made for trailer height without too much sag on the annex portion.
We have had ours for several years now and love it. We bought it for the same reasons you listed above. Aside from the carry bag, it is rock solid. It is still huge when packed down but if you have a roof rack it's no problem. The quick setup is for real; however, that does not include optional...
FWIW I did get to check out one of the T4+ at a neighboring campsite last fall. I was impressed with the first impressions. Looked pretty spacious and the owner and his wife seemed pleased.
It is. You can easily sleep 4 people, but they are side by side, not tight but close. Also, our dog is small and usually climbs inside someone's sleeping bag. If you have a large dog that needs it's own sleep space, it wouldn't be big enough. Still there is room for the 4 of us and some...
Sorry, kind of late to the topic but just in case you're still looking I can give you some insight to the OzTent. Also a family of 4 that takes a dog (small though), and we use the RV4. Longest trip we have done is about 2.5 weeks relocating every couple days. First setup time is important to...
First off, the app is looking amazing! Truly impressed with what the team has put together so far and looking forward to future releases.
Platform: Samsung Galaxy, Android, updated to 1816
Bug: does not save updates to profile
Feature/Improvement:
1) would be nice to jump to a comment/thread...
Are you referring to the blue cubes? I have one of those actually, never occurred to me to run a pump to it. Those are super handy containers especially for their price.
I actually have a similar setup currently, it's a good solution. The jerries take up space I want for something else, and my trailer is plumbed to an external spigot I am not currently using but want to be able. Really that's the whole point for me, I have all the systems (pump, power, spigot...
That's too bad, looked like a nice spot. The refuge is one of our go to locations for a quick day trip. Still, looked like a fun trip; I need to get out and try some of this route.
I would highly suggest checking out Custer State Park and the surrounding area. Beautiful area just south of Rushmore. As far as the timeframe question, I think its doable depending on how much time you want to spend in each area; they will all have their points of interest to check out.
Is that inside the refuge? If so, I'm not sure it is allowed to drive that road or camp in that area. I could be wrong, but I don't want anyone getting in trouble or damaging protected areas. On the other hand, if it is perfectly ok to camp there, thanks for sharing the coordinates; I will...
