Many in the area are interested in the event, but not the $35.00 Byrd private trails fee. We would rather trail in the National Forrest there, which is more scenic, historic, and free. Could you offer that (less Byrd fee) in your options to register?
I hear winter is prime time for Big Bend. Am also anxious to learn of "must see" points with in the park. Also, wondering if sit-on-top kayaking is generally safe in that area of the Rio Grand. THX

Am fine alone on more open areas, but prefer to share with family or friends that would otherwise not get the chance.
