Hey man these are some really sweet pictures, I am thinking of planning a trip to the Shenandoah's later this month. Would you mind giving me a little more information on the trails you hit and any recommendations for my trip?
In the GWNF is the any pretty easy trails that lead to any overland campsites? I currently only have a 2wd truck but I’m trying to make the best of it

Do you have any experience in the Shenandoahs? I’m looking to do a week trip in that area and was looking for some advice on where to go.

Anyone here ever been to the northern parts of the GWNF? Look for a quick and easy one night camp trip and would love some recommendations. I’m from Maryland so the further north the better.
Thanks

I've been in photography for a couple years now and have a D3300. Last year I got the sigma 17-50 f2.8 and I love it. Good camera to start out with and love the lens. I highly recommend better glass over a better body.
Here are a couple of my pictures from camping trips, let me know what you...
What tools did you use when completing this build? I'd love to do this myself for my cap but my power tool selection is low so idk if I could do it.
Also I'm not sure what the third picture is in your work shop is. It seems to differ from the rack on the truck, just wondering if I could get...
I've got a 2005 ranger myself and I'm looking to upgrade it a bit. Only issue I have right now is it's only 2wd so I'm contemplating whether to build it up or not. Look forward to seeing what your plan is for this truck :)

Hey guys I'm from the Frederick area and glad I stumbled upon this thread. I've been looking into some trails in northern VA in the GWNF.
If anyone has some easy trials that they know of let me know. My rigs isn't very capable but I'm still willing to get out there and push the limits...
Did you come across any beginner trails? Just getting into overlanding and I want to test out my rigs capability. Also if you have any other reccomendations on where to go I'm interested. I live in Maryland and don't know any real overlanding oppurtunites around here.
Justin
Where would you recommend going in the east? I was possibly planning a trip to the Mohawk State Forrest in MA later this month but that's less of an overland trip on more of a typically camping trip.
wish i would have discovered overlanding before i bought my first car, ended up with a 2wd truck. Best of luck to you and i will definitely watch this thread to see what you decide on
