hey Jon, yes the CNRA is pretty neat. I just live about a mile south of there so I go thru it daily. Glad to be on the OB site and can't wait for cooler temps so I can get back in the woods. Thanks for the info and holler at me if you head down this way again.......
I use a Kelty Noah's Tarp 12, it's lightweight, strong and a nice size. One side to the jeep roof rack and the other supported with steel Stansport Telescoping tent poles. Have bent/buckled alum ones in windy and hard rain conditions. Works for me :grinning:
yeah, I ran a renix for awhile, the 93 was a nice step up. Some mods, 3" lift on 33"s and a complete restore/rebuild 3-4 yrs ago. I do most of my o/landing solo so the rebuild was done with a nod toward excellant reliability. Turned out pretty good and it does what I need it to do, no problem.
