Does your Gazelle T3X tent have a hole at the top?

I'm looking for a new tent to hold 2 to 4 people and a dog. (They don't all have to fit--this is to supplement a truck camper. ) The Gazelle t4 looks good. The size is right and I really don't want to mess with tent setup. Pop it and stake it is really appealing for overnight stays. The main...

What is your favorite Go-To knife for overlanding.

The classic French Opinel is a good and inexpensive pocket knife and very easy to sharpen. I have had mine for many years and still use it mainly as a camping kitchen knife next to my Finnish knife.

What is your favorite Go-To knife for overlanding.

The Opinel are quite common in Europe as they are produced in France. They are particularly popular with hikers, outdoor enthusiasts etc. and are said to be quite good. I've never owned one myself, but I've only heard good things. @Oligetorix Don't you have an Opinel and can say something about it?

    Storage/camp kitchen build

I've looked at those as well. I'm just running through some ideas. Have some leftover plywood at the house I'm thinking of using for whichever idea I go with.

    Storage/camp kitchen build

Yes, there are indeed a lot of possibilities. Many build a slide-out solution for storage and kitchen into the rear, others rely on removable storage boxes, etc. Have a look at this thread here, there are lots of photos and ideas: Post pictures of your camp kitchen | OVERLAND BOUND COMMUNITY

    Storage/camp kitchen build

So I've been looking into this area quite some time. I just don't quite know where to start or necessarily the design. Was curious if some could share ideas. I did have a few ideas on my way to work this morning. Generally, I'm thinking a piece of plywood for the base lagged in with bolts from...

Anyone have a portable, cordless vacuum you'd recommend?

...does indeed have one, and tons exist. I can't really recommend one as my only experience with battery vacuums is a little tabletop one for my kitchen. From basic reviews I see, they have pretty bad battery life and need to be charged after each use. Not totally sure how something like that...
