Bahahahahahahahahaahahahaahahahahhaahahahahahahahahhaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.
Shit like this cracks me up. All the money in the world can't buy experience. Or style for that matter. I've owned a first-gen 4Runner and currently DD a lifted Volvo XC70 wagon. Neither of them look...
Love it! I fully agree, that's one of my favorite things about our cars. There's so little shit hanging off the bottom. I need moaaar clearance already [emoji16]. But I need to do some other stuff first. Basic maintenance and a few light mods.
But enough about me.....

Rad shots! Love the apocalyptic vibe of the last one in particular. My wagon Is finally ready post-accident! Hope to pick it up later this week or early next.

I realized after I wrote it my comment was kinda dickish. Sorry about that [emoji16]. Anyhow, because the XC70 is the most "offroad capable" Volvo of that particular generation, there isn't a ton of crossover stuff that is useful to it. The XC90 (SUV) may have some parts to make use of. I know...
I "downsized" from an '87 4Runner to a Volvo XC70 when we had our 2nd kid. Hasn't been as painful as I thought it would be hahaha. But then again I've always liked wagons...
Dude the "smaller aftermarket" is still an aftermarket though! I've got exactly 3 purpose-built products for the XC70 available to me at present [emoji24][emoji85].
They are:
IPD skidplate
IPD DEM protector
Bad Swede 2" Lift Kit
Not trying to minimize your complaint as it's completely valid...
Awesome! Love to see more wagon folk joining the fold! I drive a lifted Volvo wagon myself. Look forward to following this build. It's funny how quick things go from mild to wild once you get inspired [emoji41]
Just ordered one Amazon Prime moments ago [emoji41][emoji106]. Thanks for inspiration!
Yeah, it's taken waaaay longer than I hoped mostly due to insurance stuff and then due to the fact I chose to have one shop do the bodywork and my Volvo Indy complete the mechanical portion in an effort to...
Great shots and a rad build! Really like that Lev-o-gage too. Would make a nice present for The Adventure Wagon[emoji769] when it (hopefully) returns from its loooonnng post-accident sojourn next week.
Sadly, The Adventure Wagon[emoji769] is off the road at present thanks to an accident.
Have spoken with my claims adjuster and the insurance company's appraiser. The latter was on site late last week to determine the extent of the damage.
Thankfully, he reported back and the car is not...
But of course, my friend! [emoji41]
I'm actually surprised by how much I like its looks given my luke-warm feelings about the rest of the 90 series and the new SPA platform in general.
Compared to the P2 platform which my wagon was built on, it's gonna be night and day. I would be somewhat...
So it's been a while, but today I finally got around to a lonnngggggg overdue drain-and-fill of the Volvo's tranny. The trannys on these cars can be their weak point and I can't say I've done my best to maintain mine, mostly out of complete ignorance
Just over 3.5 quarts out just under 3.5...
