Hi!
Generally, the meet ups are on every third Sunday of the month unless there is a holiday or trip scheduled. The next meeting should be Sunday July 18th at Mavis Stouffer Park. This conflicts with the “official” notices on the app or website. I don’t know why they don’t match up.
Hope...
I think you made the wise choice. Better equipped than the TRD for less money. I was faced with the same decision and went with a 2017 Zr2 diesel and have loved it. Enjoy!!
The 11th-13th dates work better for me, but too soon to totally commit due to work.
I don’t want to rain on the parade, but I may have to snow on it! The passes might be closed by then, so we’d have to consider alternate routes. We could go to Reno then S on 395, or hwy 58 east out of...
I bought a KingCamp Heavy Duty camp chair last October and it has served me well thus far. It's been on several multi-day trips and shows no signs of wear. Very comfortable and durable chair. I'm 6' and 290lbs.
What a great trip! The camping spots were terrific and the people were, too. Was nice meeting folks from other OB areas as well. Thanks for coordinating , Dave!
I normally take I-5N to 20w to 101N . Then pick up 20W in Willits to Ft. Bragg then N on 1. It’s a bit longer than going through the bay, but there’s usually much less traffic. It can actually be faster if the Bay Area is jammed. Plenty of easy options for rest rooms, food , and fuel too.
Beautiful trail and nice video, too! The National Geographic DV map denotes them separately, but I believe Dedeckera Canyon is generally regarded as part of Steel Pass.
