Did some exploring at Northwest OHV Park at Bridgeport, TX this Sunday. The place was empty and very dry. Got a little mud and a little flex.

Did a lot of dragging and scraping, the superskidz and 589 shock skids do their jobs very well. The exhaust is now square-tip...
Yeah, its a really cool piece, Japanese made. The valve has a spring and positive detent so it takes some effort to open, and has a locking clip for extra security. The one for the Canyon is the F107SX. More details on Fumoto's website.
oh ok, no problem. yes, oil filter up top like a lot of european vehicles. what i installed was a drain valve in place of the drain bolt on the bottom of the oil pan. it allows me to connect a small hose to a bucket/pan/etc to make the oil change pretty clean. diesel oil is a lot dirtier than...
589Fab rear shock skids installed. Pretty easy as far as installation goes. I jacked up each side of the truck (just the body, not the rear axle) to allow for more room to maneuver. Just make sure you go in with sharp drill bits! The metal is thick.
Completed the oil change and Fumoto F107SX...
note that the article above is from 2014 and a lot of the tire models used are out of date. for example, the falken wildpeak the used is the original a/t, not the current a/t3w
Ordered 589Fab shock skids and a Fumoto oil drain valve over the Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales. Will be painting & installing the skids, as well as the drain valve soon. Gotta pull off an oil change in early December as we're taking the truck to California (~2800 miles round trip) over...
King springs are well-respected among the Subaru crowd, and Bilstein is Bilstein, they know what they are doing! The B6 4600 series is basically a "better than OEM" solution for stock and minimally lifted vehicles, so sounds perfect for what you are doing.
I purchased this truck new in April 2018. It's my daily driver and the family adventure-mobile. I'm in Texas with family in California so trips back and forth are already being planned. Also, I plan on camping and off-roading mainly in Texas. I've got a wife, a 9-month-old boy, and a little dog...
My name is Phil and I'm about 30 minutes due east of Dallas. Current rig is a '18 Canyon All Terrain CCSB Diesel
It is my daily driver, as well as adventure vehicle for my wife, the kid (brand new as of 12/17/17!), and the tiny dog. It is pretty stock now, plans call for rails/steps and a bed...
