    What is the one spice

Since salt doesn't count I'll go with coarse ground pepper. There is a lot of other stuff I bring along but those 2 will get a lot of good cooking done.

    Legal Weapons and Overlanding

I would be more worried about where the primer/brass meet, if anything could go bad that would be the place.

    Legal Weapons and Overlanding

Why the hell would you use a petroleum product to clean ammo? If the ammo is that corroded or dirty I get rid of it and get some better ammo.

    Legal Weapons and Overlanding

I was in Sportsmans Warehouse in Flagstaff today and they had at least 3K rounds of it.

Show me a Road Sign.....really any sign...

Here's a sign for a place I really like to visit. It's about 20 miles north of the Mexican border on I-19 in Southern AZ.

    Represent and registry threads

This is a nice diverse web site with a lot of information on a lot of different stuff. I do not understand why you don't do what I do and just not click on threads that don't interest you. No one is forcing you to read the threads that seem to bother you so don't. I guess I'm an idiot because...

    Post Up Your Cockpit

I was thinking the same thing, here's the inside and a couple of views from the cockpit. Now here's the view in my Willys, it's not quite as good as the F-16. I realize the Willys isn't as cool or fancy as the newer vehicles but I built the whole thing and it works just fine for me.

Have a vanity license plate? Let's see it!

Here's the plates I had on my Willys in Wyoming.

    CO-pilot pics

I had 2 co-pilots until the end of Dec. This is my yellow Lab Max he was with me for 10 years and loved going places. He would sit like this for hours until he got bored and went in the back to lay down. This is Max with the "new" Lab Sam

Show me a Road Sign.....really any sign...

The sign is in KG and NOT Lbs. It says 136,090 KG that translates to 61,860 LBS or 31 tons.

    Fire extinguisher

The ones I use have rubber 4 "buttons" on each arm for a total of 16 plus the 2 big heavy rubber straps. If you bend the metal arms to fit the extinguisher correctly and pull the straps nice and tight if the extingusiher comes loose it will be the least of your worries. I've never in 25 years...

    Fly Fishing

I used to live within 5 miles of 3 Gold Medal streams in CO and fly fished at least 5 times a week. Then I moved to AZ and it went to a week of fly fishing 3-4 times a year and if I was traveling I tried to fly fish along the way. Now that I'm mobility limited my fly fishing is down to 3-4 times...

    Legal Weapons and Overlanding

I hear this all the time, if I knew where "the dangerous or bad places were" I'd never get within 10 miles of one. Unfortunately there is no safe place to be, military bases have had shootings as have shopping malls, churches, rest areas, parks, parking areas, city streets, highways, homes, gas...

    what is your go-to tire?

I have 2 sets for my Willys, a set of 34X9.50 15 Super Swampers and a set of 33X10.50 15 BFG KO2s. I like both but the KO2's are a better all around tire. The Swampers kick ass in the mud and slush.

Tires - Road Comfort vs Trail Performance

Mine are geared towards off road performance, if they happen to have good road manners that's ok.

Camp Cooking help if you need it.....

This is one of my favorites, while browning some hamburger in a skillet, slice potatoes and onions and make some gravy (I cheat with instant). Once the burger is browned pour off the grease, add the potatoes, onions, gravy, salt, pepper and spices to taste. Let it simmer while you relax and...

They may cost a little more but there is way more product support for them.
